Management Team
John E. Johnson, CEO, is the creator of the 60 Minute Strategic Plan process, has been professionally associated with strategic planning for 48 years. On graduating from University of Western Ontario (Canada’s Harvard Business School), Johnson was recruited by Unilever, the world leader in consumer packaged goods, where he was Brand Manager responsible for planning and nationally marketing world famous brands such as Dove, Lux Toilet Soap, Lifebuoy, and Sunlight. After eight years at Unilever, Johnson was recruited for Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco, where for 20 years he managed the advertising and marketing activity, on behalf of Foote, Cone & Belding, for all of Levi’s U.S. apparel brands. Thereafter, for the next 14 years Johnson functioned as a chairman facilitator for Vistage International (The Executive Committee renamed), an organization comprised of 13,000 CEOs in 15 countries. Additionally, Johnson has been a strategic management consultant and speaker helping CEOs and their management teams for over 20 years.
Anne Marie Smith, President, has over 22 years experience as a successful consultant, manager, and business owner. Before joining 60 Minute Strategic Plan, Smith was co-founder and President of a business communications company. Smith began the company in 1995 and, over the course of ten years, was instrumental in building it into a high-growth, successful venture. The company was on Inc magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies list for two years while under her tenure. Smith sold the business in 2004 and joined 60 Minute Strategic Plan, Inc. as a partner in April of 2005. Smith is co-author of the 60 Minute Strategic Plan book. A dynamic speaker and instructor, Smith’s passion is helping other business owners achieve and excel. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

Jenny Capella
Over the course of a diverse 28 year career in human relations and business development, Jenny Capella has proven to be a skilled executive, visionary entrepreneur, and pioneering solution provider. She has worked as a national award winning business banker at US Bank, served numerous times as interim departmental director for various Washington firms and consulted executives locally and internationally. Jenny is the owner and founder of The Capella Group, an innovative business connections and consulting firm. Her custom forged partnerships and advisory services result in increased revenue and client portfolios and farsighted strategic and tactical solutions. Jenny is a certified in the 60 Minute Strategic Plan® and the Birkman Method®. Her extensive training includes crisis intervention, communication, team development, and systems design. She is currently completing a book based on her highly requested seminar on creating successful advisory teams.
Dr. Gary Rodriguez is President of Leadermetrix, an executive coaching and consulting firm he founded in 2006. Gary’s extensive resume includes 18 years in the radio business as a successful executive with Infinity Broadcasting and Mariner Communications. Gary managed stations all over the country while serving as VP of Mariner Communications and was nominated twice as Radio Manager of the Year by a national media publication. In 1999, Gary founded a non-denominational church in San Jose, California where he served as president and pastor for eight years. Under his leadership, church attendance grew to over 500. Gary was awarded the Silver Star (the nation's third highest award for valor) while serving in Viet Nam.
David T. Witkowski is an independent consultant with over 25 years of experience as a technology and business leader in the wireless industry. In 2006, David led business development worldwide for wireless vertical markets at Cadence Design Systems. During 2003 to 2005, he developed strategy and led technical teams for Cadence’s focus account team, which achieved sales of over $150MM. David led applications engineering worldwide at Xpedion Design Systems (now Agilent) and was responsible for launch and development of numerous programs at Tropian (now Panasonic). David serves as Vice President of the Wireless Communications Alliance, Co-Chair of the CommNexus Semiconductor SIG, and Strategic Advisor to the Personal Broadband Industry Association. He is an accomplished public speaker and has been quoted in several international publications including Chip Design Magazine, EETimes, and MRT. David holds a BSEE from the University of California.
Martin Woodrow is an experienced executive coach and business leader with over 20 years experience helping executives, senior managers, and mid-level managers in achieving their personal, professional, and corporate objectives. Martin’s corporate background includes global responsibility as Sr. Director for KLA-Tencor’s Executive Development Program, which became the benchmark in the high-tech industry and was recognized by Training Magazine’s Top 100 Training Organizations between 2002 and 2006. In addition to his corporate experience, Martin also served as an ordained minister for fifteen years directing congregations and lay membership in strategic planning, personal development, and purpose-filled ministry. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and Master’s degrees in Education and Organizational Management.
